Yun Lu presented her research titled “Are Eyes Special? Attentional Selection of Social Information” at McGill’s 7th Annual Faculty of Arts Undergraduate Research Event.


2016

Dr. Francesca Capozzi, Dr. Christopher Blair, and Effie Pereira all gave successful talks at the Canadian Society for Brain, Behaviour, and Cognitive Science this past June. We also had our graduate student Todd Vogel and undergraduate Lauri Gurguryan present some wonderful posters at the conference!

2014

We welcome new graduate students to our lab! Effie Pereira joins us as a PhD student from Queen’s University, and Todd Vogel joins us as a MSc student from Illinois!

Effie Pereira has been announced as the Department of Psychology’s Social Media Coordinator along with past lab member, Anne Holding.

Jaclyn Kirstiuk's thesis has been accepted to the McGill PSI Undergraduate Research Journal.


2013

Jelena, Dana & Mathieu presented their data at the Canadian Society for Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Sciences Annual Conference in Calgary, Alberta.

Mathieu presented a poster titled "Combined Attention: A novel way of conceptualizing the links betnween attention and behavior".

Dana gave a talk entitled "A gaze in the crowd: Social attention is resilient to perceptual load".

Jelena and her students (Graduate student Dana Hayward, and Undergraduates Julia Boggia and Marilena Cote-Lecaldare) went to Winnipeg for the annual Conference for the Canadian Society for Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Science. Congratulations to Dana for receiving an honorable mention for her poster presentation, and good job to everyone for a great weekend!

The lab receives new eye-tracking equipment, and lab members will be receiving training this week!
